A Seaman's Record Booklet is a document certifying the holder of such document as a 'Seaman' as per the Convention of STCW. This document serves as an identify proof for the holder as a 'Seaman' under the convention as well as serves as an record of his discharged duties or experiences onboard thereby ascertaining his seatime, rank, vessel GRT, flag registry, etc etc. This needs to be signed and stamped by the Master of the vessel.
